Anywhere, anytime
access..., Learning at your own pace and
place..., is this what all about e-Learning?
Beyond any doubt, e-Learning is now the
dancing popcorn on hot fire! The self and
skills are turning around the world swiftly.
While the products, services and its
technologies taking a transformation,
training becomes a mammoth task, but a
definite one though. This task is eased
through e-Learning, an elegant way of
systematic grouping of content and training.
With e-Learning, one can focus on what they
need, gain unlimited access to the content,
optimize working schedule by keeping
embedded with the up-to-the-minute
information and what not! You and we have
now come much closer in experiencing this
great interactive media to emerge with the
education equilibrium, seeing through
successful endeavors of e-Learning. In a
nutshell, e-Learning assumes an imperious
hold in the field of information technology.
Careers and confidence, combining to
continue with converging communication, have
taken an upper hand in this sophisticated
industry for good. Wide-n-go!
MVS is comprised of experienced staff. We
are able to save your organization money by
providing a total solution to your training
needs. Ranging from graphic design to
hosting, the services needed to create a
complete and effective training program can
be fulfilled by MVS.
We have helped clients of various industries
convert paper-based manuals or
instructor-led courses to cost-saving
e-learning packages. We have worked with
Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create new
training programs to be delivered on CD-ROM
or via the organization's intranet. We have
provided hosting solutions for pre-existing
courseware, and we've developed back-end
infrastructures (learning management
systems) that track student data; providing
administrators access to scoring and other
student record information.
We have the skills you need to assess your
organization's training needs, create a
solution that meets those identified needs,
create a learning management system that
allows your administrators to assess your
students' progress, and a stable platform to
securely host your learning application.
The Benefits of the Internet
Traditionally distribution has not been
quick to embrace new training technologies.
An annual survey of sales training in
distributorships continues to show that more
than two-thirds of all sales training is
done in some sort of seminar format with
only a fraction of those seminars using some
other medium (e.g., video) for
reinforcement. CD-based training, CBT, and
various distance learning media show up in
the surveys infrequently or not at all.
Given this reluctance to move to more
advanced training/education media, why
should the distributor consider
Internet-based training?
There are two answers. The first is that the
Internet uniquely conforms to a number of
trends in workplace education and training.
At a time when nearly 40% of applicants
tested were found to be deficient in the
skills needed to do the job companies have
dramatically increased their investment in
education and training. According to
Training Magazine company investments grew
by more than 33% — from $45.5 billion to
more than $60.7 billion — between 1990 and
1998. More employees are, in fact, getting
training and education on the job. However,
it is not the same old training; a number of
trends in the workplace and in
training/education are having an impact on
that. In the world of the knowledge-based
economy in which we will all have to live
there is a new view of education and the
role it will play in the company’s
success.

Web-based learning, along with
other distributed learning such as video
conferencing, meet these new requirements,
not only allowing for life-long learning
(the “Forty-Year Degree”) and totally
tailored curricula, but also providing it
when and where it is needed.
